Inner margin is an area where no significant information such as logo or text should be placed.

It is 4-5 mm starting from the folding line and a 4 mm inner margin for every side of the leaflet.

- File types: recommended PDF file Acrobat 4 compliance (PDF 1.3)
- Format: net dimension + 3mm bleed on each side (If you order a 90x50mm business card, please send a 96x56mm file)
- All fonts converted to curves.
- All photos converted to a bitmap in a 1: 1 scale, with a resolution of 300 dpi in CMYK 8 bits per channel.
- Design centered on the page.
- Flatten all layers in Photoshop files before saving as PDF.
- The distance of texts and logos from the cutting line is 4mm (safe margin) - in a folded brochure as yours the distanece 4mm as well from the folding margin.
- File without any attached color profiles or with a CMYK ISO Coated v2 300% ECI.

The sent file is checked by the DTP department in terms of technical conditions, whether it contains appropriate bleeds, whether the work format, colors, number of pages is consistent with the order placed.

The files are not checked in terms of content.

We recommend not including any color profiles for digital printing on ecological brown papers.

For production on coated papers such as catalogs, brochures, please use the CMYK ISO Coated v2 300% ECI.

A file with the general guidelines for printing should contain a CMYK design on separate pages and seperate page for the die (matrix) - vector objects filled with 100 black (K 100%) matched to the design. You can send a preview JPG file.

Spot color is an ADDITIONAL COLOR IN THE MACHINE (white ink on brown papers). For the production of printed materials in white with an additional color, please prepare the project in accordance with the general guidelines for printing.

ADDITIONALLY - CREATE A LAYER WITH THE ELEMENTS FOR PRINTING WITH WHITE INK (white paint is not a CMYK component!)

Elements with white overprint should be placed above the CMYK layer as an element filled with a new spot color from the user's palette (eg C1 M1 Y5 K1) called White, and with overprint turned on for fill and stroke, if there is one. Only vector graphics are suitable for reprinting. We advise against overprinting for small texts and objects due to the fit and large-area slabs. For overprint, the filling is uniform filling.

Adobe Illustrator:
Create a document of the target format, e.g. 55x85mm, add 3 mm bleeds on every side and specify the number of workspaces (project pages).
In the document, create a White layer on the selected workspace (project page), which will be the top layer (on this layer, work with the shape / path of the White -spot color)
Fill in the shape with the spot color:
-from the Swatches panel menu (upper right corner)  select New Color Swatch  - set any CMYK color, e.g. 5 5 5 1, Name: White, Type color: Spot, Color mode: CMYK ).

So that the white print does not go beyond the CMYK overprint (does not shine), you must move the shape path inward (trapping, i.e. minimal reduction of the white object),
Object->Path->Offset Path> select Offset for e.g. -0,2mm
All elements from the White layer should be given an overprint color [Ctrl + F11]
If there are outlines in design elements, they must also have an overprint color.

Please prepare a separate  JPG or PDF file with dashed lines marking the place of unusual folding with the possibility of marking the distance between the creases and the cutting line.

For products cut in an individual shape, a matrix is needed, which is made by the customer or the Recyklus Printing House (paid service). In addition to a CMYK project that complies with the general rules for creating files, you should send the matrix file (die-cut lines) in curves (it is not possible to make matrices from a bitmap) as a separate PDF file or as another page in the file.

You can send a PDF file of the design with the matrix mesh applied, however, we ask that the knife lines and creases / perforations should be considered as additional colors. You can upload the die-cutting visualization on a file to avoid inaccuracies. Please mark the cutting line in red, the crease line in green, and the perforation line - with a dotted line.

For the readability of the text, we recommend using min. 12 points for debossing and 8 points for hot stamping in straight cuts.

After receiving the valuation and its approval, you place an order by e-mail (not by phone), and we send a proforma for payment. We proceed to the implementation after making the payment. We also check the files after payment.

The quotation includes the estimated date of order fulfillment from the moment of paying the proforma and sending correctly prepared files. The completion date depends on the production load and the specificity of the product. The terms of foil and gilded products are longer than for production without refinement.

We provide the possibility of accelerated implementation. Ask your account manager for details.
If you care about time and you know about it when placing the order - inform your account manager about it. We always try to execute orders on time.

The order can be canceled at no additional cost, as long as the files are not accepted by the DTP department for production and the offset plates are burned out. After the plates are exposed, the order can be canceled after charging for the CTP plates. In the case of digitally printed works, you can cancel or replace files at any time until they are arranged on the sheets, i.e. until the files are accepted by the DTP department.

These markings indicate the type of product printing. The number 4 symbolizes 4 colors in CMYK machines, i.e. full color. The number 1 symbolizes the color black 100% K.
If the obtained quote has a color of 4/4, it means that the production will be in full color on both sides of the sheet. The White color symbolizes an additional color , which is additionally payable.

Recycling papers are not obvious. Sometimes the shade of the raw material differs in the deliveries. If you want to receive a sample of your work before you start complete production, you can order a test print on the SRA3 sheet (330x460mm). You can arrange the uses on the sheet or send the project - we will do it for you.

You can find the scans of papers on our website HERE. If you want to see and touch our raw materials, ask your account manager or send. The package will then be sent to the address provided.

Files up to 10 MB can be sent as an attachment to an e-mail.

Files larger than 10MB should be sent via external servers such as wetransfer.com, dropbox or your own servers. We also provide our clients with FTP disk space.
